Romantic Anniversary Portraits | Berryville VA

As photographers we do a lot of meaningful work, but this session meant so incredibly much to us. This month two special people in our lives celebrated over three decades of marriage. Chelsea’s Aunt Robin and Uncle Denny are invaluable to us. Aunt Robin is the most generous and selfless person, always seeing positive in everyone. She’s an inspiration to every single person around her and is such a ray of sunshine. Uncle Denny is incredibly hardworking; he has instilled confidence and work ethics in both of us. We admire them as individuals but together they are unstoppable. Their marriage is rock solid, built on respect and love for the other each other. When they said their vows so many years ago, they probably didn’t know how they would be tested. But here they are still standing by each other’s side. It was such an honor to document this time in their lives.

We photographed them on their beautiful property in Clark County, Virginia. Uncle Denny takes such pride in caring for his land. It’s such a serene place with a shady lane and horses. It’s such a magical piece of land so it just made sense to do their photos there!
