Cohen & Vise | Small & Private Virginia Wedding

There aren’t enough sweet words to describe this couple & this day! Cohen & I grew up as childhood friends until we went to different schools, and I have such fond memories of our childhood together! Thanks to social media we reconnected as adults and it’s been so wonderful having her in my life again! We are always so appreciative when a couple trusts us to photograph their wedding day, but it was seriously the biggest honor when she asked Logan & I to capture their precious memories!

Cohen & Vise decided they wanted to do a private ceremony at the Fuller House Inn and have a celebration dinner with their immediate families afterwards at Regions 117. Their private ceremony was so sweet, I may have teared up a little when I saw how excited they were to say their vows. One aspect that Logan & I both love about this business is serving couples who are truly in love and excited for their marriage, not just their wedding day. Being a part of our couple’s lives for these moments brings us such joy!

We absolutely loved photographing Cohen & Vise’s details! Cohen gifted Vise a gorgeous Marc Jacob’s watch and Cohen’s sweet Momma gave her a family heirloom pin. Cohen’s bouquet was stunning and smelled HEAVENLY! The guys at Flowerhaus completely blew everyone away with their talent. Cohen had a vision of what she wanted and they brought it to life and then some! The mixture of ferns and flowers was breathtaking!

After the ceremony we took their bridal portraits at Handley Library in Winchester. We are so fortunate to live in an area with such beautiful historic architecture. I could photograph there all day! It was the perfect backdrop for their first portraits as husband & wife! After their portraits we headed to Regions 117 for family formal portraits and celebratory dinner. Food and company were enjoyed, toasts were given and the joy was palpable. After all the festivites, Cohen & Vise cut their TWO cakes. Vise’s family is from Russian and his family made them a traditional Russian wedding cake and Cohen’s family provided them with an all white wedding cake and cookies. There was definitely no shortage of desserts!

Logan & I absolutely loved being a part of Cohen & Vise’s day! It’s couples like Cohen & Vise that make our jobs so fun & rewarding. We can’t wait to cheer them on as they grow in their love and marriage!
